Reviews and Ratings
I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The room was spacious and had a large bed with amazing views down to Florence, but it was very dirty with cobwebs and dead insects in every corner. The bathroom was a good size with a large shower and plenty of toiletries, although no conditioner for hair. The room's privacy was a plus as it was away from other rooms.
I had a wonderful stay at the hotel with clean and comfortable rooms offering a great view of Florence in the valley. While booking directly is recommended for a better room, the surroundings were lovely. The service was attentive and Carlo, the Siciliano, went above and beyond to take care of us. The location in the Tuscan hills was both beautiful and safe, offering amazing views over Florence and quick access to the city. Although the dining options were limited, the hotel provided extraordinary food. Overall, a relaxing and enjoyable experience with a few minor drawbacks.
Staying at this hotel was truly a royal experience, with rooms adorned with a stunning ceiling mural, albeit not the largest. The foldable shower screen added a touch of elegance to the bathroom.
Staying at this hotel was a mixed experience. While the rooms offered a large bed with wonderful views down to Florence, booking directly was necessary to secure a better room; however, the rooms themselves were a bit small. The service I received was nice and friendly after the initial encounter on the second day, providing a delightful time overall, with friendly and servile staff offering amenities like room service, laundry, welcome drinks, and tours/ticket assistance. The location had its ups and downs, being not so good due to the main road to Fiesole but close to the hotel, though very beautiful and safe, with amazing restaurants away from the crowded tourist spots in Florence, and with fantastic views over the city. The dining experience, with a great selection of cereals and cold meats, was somewhat marred by occasional chaotic staff behavior, possibly affecting standards. Throughout my stay, I found the facilities to be satisfactory, albeit with some minor room for improvement. Overall, the price I paid matched what was offered, creating an overall decent value for money experience.
The hotel offers light, bright, beautifully decorated, and clean rooms, though they are a little small. The service is friendly, helpful, and always cheerful, with some noise in the morning. The location is fantastic, offering amazing views over the city of Florence. The dining experience is very good with excellent food and superb views. The hotel facilities are top-notch, making the stay enjoyable overall.
The hotel had some noise issues in the rooms, but they were clean and well-appointed. The service was extremely helpful and welcoming. The main selling point is its location with easy access to the center of Florence. The dining experience varied from poor to excellent. The facilities were adequate overall.
